Lake Wales Main Street is creating an internet Virtual Tour so the world can meet our friendly people and get to know the business that are members of Main Street. Lake Wales can be promoted as one of the first downtown communities in the U.S. to have a video Virtual Tour.
Only a few towns across America have a handful of videos that are hard to find and not advertised together. We have 14 videos on our web site, so we’ve already blown away the competition and we’re adding more every week. When we have over 30 videos up, with thousands of hits, we can get major media coverage for Lake Wales.
The concept is to create a down-home, very casual video that lets the viewer feel as if they actually visited the business and met the owner. A relaxed, personal video is a good way to engage new customers and make connections with potential visitors from around Florida, and around the world.

6.The number one thing you can do to help the Virtual Tour campaign is email the link to all your friends ask them to do the above five. That helps us create the much coveted “viral video.”
